This fabric flower kanzashi hairclip is muted sorbet colours, and has a beautiful zen feel to it. This large kanzashi fascinator is made with polysilk to keep it affordable. A beautiful waterlily-like kanzashi flower, you can imagine this floating on the surface of a still pond.
An extra large (4.5 inches diameter), 24 petal flower with 3 layers of 8 petals around.
There are pale pink stamens in the middle and it is backed with cerise felt and a crocodile hair clip.
The petals are:
Centre layer: Fuchsia habotai silk
2nd layer: Pink Polysilk
3rd layer: 6 ivory polysilk petals, 2 mint green polysilk petals
Please bear in mind that the colours you see on your screen may not exactly match the appearance of the kanzashi 'in the flesh', though I have tried to show them as accurately as possible!

Kanzashi are Japanese hair ornaments. Hana kanzashi means ‘flower kanzashi’ and simply refers to the flower shape of the hair accessories. Tsumami kanzashi means kanzashi that are made by pinching silk to form petals and is the Japanese traditional craft which inspires my own kanzashi.
